For the price, our stay at Finca San Rafael was excellent value. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location provided stunning views and a serene atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Hotel breakfast could have been better, with some improvements needed in the quality and variety of the food offered.

The staff at the hostel were incredibly friendly and always available to answer any questions. The meals offered onsite were delicious, especially the home-cooked dinner. The location of the hostel was perfect, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. It was a great place to relax and enjoy nature. the coffee and cacao tour was informative and interesting, allowing us to witness the production process.

There was no soundproofing in the rooms, so it was quite easy to hear noises from neighboring rooms. the drive to the hostel was challenging, especially in bad weather conditions.

I had an amazing experience staying at a cozy little place surrounded by breathtaking mountains. the staff were super friendly and helpful, even going above and beyond when my partner fell ill. the room was comfortable and had beautiful views, and the breakfast was delicious. I also loved the opportunity to do a coffee and cacao tour, which was both educational and enjoyable.

I recently had the most amazing stay at a charming mountain retreat. the location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the surrounding area. the staff was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. the rooms were clean and spacious, providing a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. the breakfast was delicious, with fresh coffee and cacao available anytime. I also had the opportunity to go on a fascinating coffee and cacao tour, which was a unique and educational experience. I can't wait to go back and explore more of the beautiful surroundings.

The only minor drawback was the noise level in the rooms, as the walls were a bit thin and conversations from neighboring rooms could be overheard.

I recently stayed at Finca San Rafael for a few nights and it was a delightful experience. The Swiss owners ensure the place is well taken care of, and the Colombian staff and German student added to the cozy atmosphere. The beds were comfortable, and waking up to the sight of hummingbirds and misty mountains was a treat. The tranquil location was perfect for birdwatching and hiking. The staff and volunteers who gave coffee and cacao tours were wonderful, and the meals were like home-cooked family style.

    I highly recommend this hotel.

The atmosphere was great, with chairs, hammocks, and birdwatching right in front of you. We had a tour of the cacao and coffee plantation, and the guide told it with passion. The Mirador for the sunset was the most wonderful spot in the whole area. The hotel is located in a stunning, quiet area with beautiful views. I could enjoy my coffee in the morning and watch all the beautiful birds. The room was a great size and had mosquito nets. You have to get a motor taxi from the town to the hotel, which is pretty fun. Loved the rescue cats and dogs, as well as the frogs, birds, and lizards you see a lot of. The meals were enjoyable and the atmosphere was homely and friendly. Very well-run and extremely good value for money.

Felt like it was our own home, no complaints whatsoever.

The meals offered onsite were delicious, and there was also a kitchen available to use. the location had great views and was away from the hustle and noise of the town. It was a perfect place to relax in nature and enjoy unlimited coffee and cacao.

The food options were a bit disappointing, particularly for vegetarians.

Nestled among breathtaking mountains, this remote hostel offers stunning views of nature. the superior room boasts a panoramic vista of the forest and mountains, providing a tranquil retreat. the staff's warm hospitality and readily available coffee and cacao create a welcoming atmosphere. the informative coffee and cacao tour offers a unique experience.

Limited vegetarian dinner options and a partially blocked bathroom detracted from the overall experience.
